This last one I posted. I did get the coupon and I saved 194 bucks.
It's definitely not going to sound like post #73, but I think you will like it if you are used to smaller cams. It will be a "noticeable" idle and good midrange.

I've never been at a swap meet/car show/racing event, that a lumpy cammed car idled by, and heard anyone say, " that big cam in that car sounds terrible ".

I agree beags, I was just saying you were showing him what a lumpy idle sounds like, if he thinks his will sound like that he might be dissapointed.
Also, I did have a newbie car guy(he was also a friend) tell me once almost 20 years ago my Regal engine sounded like crap because he thought it was going to die because of the "rough" idle. Didn't bother me any, ha ha. I had way more compliments the other way around.
I also had a non-car guy ride in my truck once, and he asked if it always shook that much at idle. I said yes thats normal for this camshaft, I kind of chuckled because the truck is so mild compared to the regal, the truck is only 231/[email protected].
