Accidental k30

What did you do with the stock ECM/intake n stuff? Thinking of a 454 in my Yukon since the motor took a shit again.

By the video he went with fresh springs to go with the cam. The carb choice was only a 650cfm unit but he advised at that power level it didn't need more. He's tested bigger carbs on other gen 6 bbc builds and until you go to bigger heads a bigger carb does not bring more power.

He did use an Edelbrock air gap dual plane intake on this test.

The guy in the video has been dyno testing stuff for years. Pretty knowledgeable. The combo with stock heads looks really reliable.
I bought the entire "kit" with springs, cam, and timing set. Looks pretty comprehensive.

The 911-16 springs but it came in this whole kit from comp all together. Im almost certain that this is what holdener used in its entirety there in his videos.

those look like single springs so you should be able to avoid the machine work on the valve guides that I had to do with the double springs and smaller valve seals. Double check the seals that came with the kit assuming the kit included those. Holdener had beehives btw and he talked about them being near coil bind.

So a year later the title is in my hands.
Original one owner title. Never had one of these before.

To recap:
Ive got this 454 here with that 510 lift cam. A whole 465 205 setup. Its got 13k mile cucv axles under it. Nv4500 is just too expensive to build one for this.

I NEEEEEED 39" boggers on 14 wide super singles.

Cleaned it up and got the front clip on the other day. It really is a good looking truck.

I've got some 16.5 AE 589s if you are interested; I can't remember how wide they are
