All things Drag Racing.

Wish I'd have thought to spin the camera at the other lane during that. Oh well.

It was fun for sure

Yeah it was a helluva bumpy ride lol

I could have swore I had more videos of that day. There's a bunch of videos actually that I thought I had on YT and are not. Not sure if they got erased or what :dunno:

I think someone needs to run their truck.

My brother ran his C10 several years ago at Byron...ran 11.07 @ 122, it's not stock. He was having issues with wheel hop so we put a 4 link in it and this was the first pass after the 4 link install. Before that it would wheel hop and not hook at all.

1st round of the million...people are stepping it up for the big one....

The 1998 Million Dollar Race Winner Troy Williams Jr. is trip zip (.000) and dead on with zero as he lays down a perfect run during round one of the 27th Annual Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels Million Dollar Race.

I had a skid plate that pushed up on the transfer case and put tension on the transmission, so throughout the torquing and twisting that day the trans case snapped. I have since spaced the skid plate so it doesn’t touch the transfer case now….no problems anymore.

That's crazy and exactly why front engine dragsters aren't used much anymore. Did the suit work, did he get burned? Either way he got burned less with the suit, I just hope he didn't get burned at all, but that looks pretty bad.

@folkenheath How'd your gang do at the million?

Nick won the opening $50K and they went several rounds after that but nothing bigger than the $50K. Which is still a good weekend, I think this is the first year he won two $50k in the same year if I remember correctly.

Weather is looking real good tomorrow for the FAST group coming to US131 in Martin, MI.
I think they’ll let me run even though my car isn't Factory Appearing Stock Tire, Factory Stock, or Modern Muscle eligible.
should be able to get some passes in as the car count should be less than most test and tune sessions.
Im going to run it in street trim and tune. Sidepipes w mufflers, 32* timing and pump gas to start. Taking the timing light, jets, and a couple gallons of race gas along too.

I’m guessing the density altitude in August when I ran the 12.24/115 was around 1500’
friday should be below 800 all day, maybe below 0 in the morning!
