Nick won another 50k today! This time in the Dragster!

My Uncle Randy and his daughter (another of my many cousins) Jenny with Nick, since they run the original "Million" dollar drag race this weekend. I think Jenny was harassing Nick on the check...

I can't image the feeling of winning that, has to be awesome! I was excited when I won $150 at the dirt drags! ha ha

I think it was 10 rounds because there was over 600 cars entered, and he won! I was watching live while getting supplies in Menards since I'm not in Alabama. Although a lot of my family is, ha ha. They still have the actual million and another $100K race coming yet this weekend. It gets even more competitive. Last year at the million I saw a .002 package lose to a .001 package, it was crazy. Have a .002 package and lose...

Good eye, yes that's Dave, that's Jenny's fiance and she is pregnant with their second child. They had their first, Bryson over a couple years ago now. I gave him the little 6V (used to be) wheelie quad I made that my son used to drive around and he outgrew. Dave is one of the best crew chiefs for NHRA Pro Stock (for the KB/Summit Racing Team) and he specializes in drag suspension, him and Jenny just bought "Competitive Suspension" and combined it with his shock dyno and tuning expertise.

I keep wondering what my truck would run in the qtr, any ideas? im thinking 15 or 16?

15s probably close with the big tires, depends on your gears and how much you can get to the ground, you might squeeze into the 14s if you could get it to the ground, but your rear leaf springs are going to wrap up pretty bad on asphalt with no traction bar of any kind. That wastes power and time, and it might brake a u-joint.

My app estimates ET and speed based on power and weight, but it assumes you have everything in the chassis tuned and geared perfectly.

My k10 stockish ran 17.77 here at 4700’

It was lighter then…
I’m at 2200’ here, but weigh 6440 empty, with wheels and tires that weigh 138 lbs. each. Aaaannndd then there’s the dump truck trans :haha:

SM465 for the pass on the tow rig!

Many, many years ago there was video footage on here of someone racing a lifted K10. Even bolted on drag slicks
