They are probably cool. I just have a hard time caring about Mustangs. Like electric cars.

Did you guys see who/what won the Sick Week recently? It was a 28" radial Coyote car that won the whole event. Got to give him credit, pretty impressive...
Averaged 6.34 with a 6.26 best ET for the week, on a drag and drive 28" radial tire!

The mustang II's. Yeah. Ive seen some sweet ones.So you actually like the Pinto years then?
Those were the most terrible Mustang ever, didn't deserve the name IMOThe mustang II's. Yeah. Ive seen some sweet ones.
This Mustang dude is Cleetus' direct competition, running better numbers and more consistant with less power. He is the sole reason Cleetus just upgraded to a full floater and and clean sheet 4 link set up. Pete Harrel was Cleetus's partner at Sick Week and was doing all the suspension tuning stuff...until they tore up the TH400.
Jeff lutz was the one complaining about the radial prep...lol
Mullet’s carbon front clip lacks lights for the street portion so they put the stock clip back on. I think now that they put the four link in they only have the middle part of the stock frame left along the rockers.Yeah, I get it, I agree with you.
I am just saying I feel for him on the weight penalty. Because I am in the same boat. When I rebuilt my entire car over 6 years ago now, it would of gotten 1st or 2nd in the Street NA class at Drag Week if I would of raced and completed it. Easier said than done, but considering I have been driving it and racing it for 6 years now with just fluid changes and lash checks I should of been fine.
However, now they got all these lightweight cars, and mustangs with Big Blocks in them running 8s on motor because they have up to 800 lbs weight advantage on me and a similar drivetrain.
Morris is in the same scenario, he has a huge station wagon that is absolutely awesome, but its so heavy it would be extremely hard to get it in the 5s. He also had to get a 12" MW rearend for it to not break it.
Weight also kills more parts, transmissions and rearends take a lot of abuse with a fast heavy car.
I wouldn't be surprised if eventually Mullet got a complete tube chassis and ditched the factory frame completely, it's what it would take to really compete with the lighter cars, and he has the resources. I noticed he put the frontend back on and didn't put the heavy doors back on.
