Now my cousin Brian runnered up in the $40K race on Friday when we were there at one of the local tracks for the annual "Fire Cracker Bracket Nationals".
He runnered up against a family friend Mikey Bloomfield, so we all took the picture together. It was two Folk dragsters in the final!
The crazy thing was, Mikey won the day before at the $10K, and then he won again the following day again, a 3rd day in a row, another $40K! He was driving a new Folk dragster, owner was on vacation so Mikey was driving. He joked if Mikey kept doing that he would just stay on vacation! ha ha. Anyway, because he won three days in a row people started complaining so they took his car apart to make sure he was legit, anyone that knows him knows he is but the track owner was trying to keep everyone happy. So Mikey left the car apart for the picture! Was hilarious and an amazing winning streak, especially with today's competition.

I got tickets to my first NHRA top fuel and funny car race up in Tacoma this weekend at the Northwest Nationals. I'm bringing my 13 year old boy and his buddy, any advice for first time attendees other than ear muffs?
