All things Drag Racing.

This takes me out of the running with Fugly. Not wanting to swap duals twice a day.

•All entries are required to use purpose-built drag-race drive tires on the track, including slicks, DOT-approved slicks, or drag radials. No conventional treaded street tires.

You can run a DOT drag radial, you just need to run it the whole trip if you don't want to swap them.

I don't even have another pair of tires for my regal anymore, I just drive it with the drag radials, been that way for over 6 years since I put 5/8" studs on the back and sold my old wheels.

Just successfully signed up for Drag Week 2024. I got some work to do now...

205 days and counting down.
Right on, and with two Michigan tracks in the schedule, if the logistics work for ya, I can put you guys up at my place if that works for ya. I’ll make sure the lift is open, and The Flyin Rat garage will be open all week.
Drag week CK5 party!

Wow, it's full already, in 3 hours!

I was contemplating if I should sign up or not so I went to try, but I guess I can't.

It's definitely on my list of things I want to do. I've only watched the drag week.

Sign up on the Wait list. Chances are good a spot will open up between now and the event.

Also, showing up on Regstration day usually works too. Frieburger has said again and again they have never turned anyone away...but i'd try the Wait List thing first. Just gotta email them.

Last year it allegedly sold out in nine minutes. I finished signing up at 9:03 am this year.

That would definitely be cool for one night!! Deb is my Drag Week partner...

I know there are checkpoints to be made, but Martin is 40 miles from my place, and Milan is about 120. I plan on attending both.

I watched this vid earlier. Found it pretty interesting. Couple of those cars are pretty cool.
I think the 4wd one would have worked if it was like a 30/70 or 40/60 split torque bias.
