All things Drag Racing.

He needs some better shocks so it doesn't raise so fast and bounce so much, he's going to get hurt or hurt someone if he keeps that up.

The funny thing is the guy next to him ran 8.59 @ 161 without even picking the wheels at all.

Personally I would never race no prep, I want a clean prepped track for safety.

Pretty much every no prep guy on the no prep shows has crashed, some multiple times, and some have gotten hurt pretty bad, or killed.

It's fun to watch because the traction is unpredictable, so it's anyone's game.

I'm glad to see them doing the no prep at the track than on the street though.

I sure hope no one else gets hurt, that's just sad, I want to see everyone go home safe after the race.

Has anyone been watching War in the Woods? No prep, no timers. Just heads up racing. These dudes have balls of steel to be able to run this track this hard.

There have been a number of crashes. No one hurt.
I usually wait until 1320video puts out a nice video about it.

My son entered a local event and I got to be crew. Friday night he got down to a 14.35 with the '01 GMC! I didn't see what the density altitude was, but it's typically well above our 5000' elevation.
A brown Nova had an average of 9.2 and we were following him over the Grand Mesa during the cruise portion Saturday. The Mesa tops out at 10K' , but the storm was not helpful.
We all did a 150 mile loop, stopping at checkpoints, then met back at the track for BBQ.
Today is another race day, heading to the track now.
