All things Drag Racing.

My cousin Nick was listed as one of the top 50 sportsman drag racers in the entire 75 year history of the NHRA.

Thats an amazing accomplishment

That's what I told him, especially when you look at the list of people who created that list. Also, the thing is that doesn't count his world titles or national event wins in IHRA, or bracket racing. I was there when his brother Brian also doubled at an IHRA national nearly 20 years ago. If I recall you were there when Nick won the Jegs All Stars at Joliet weren't you?

I know I ran from one side of the track to the other where you and your family were watching. Seems like he won in one class and r/u in another?

Yeah he won the Allstars and runner up in Super Stock, he was so close to winning both that day which no one had ever done with an Allstar race, which is hard enough to win in itself.

How big is that compressor?
I don't remember. He said that it went to almost 10.5 psi the other night.
11.16 was one of the time slips that I saw from RMRW.
He wanted to run a 4L60E to keep drivetrain loss lower and have OD, but after talking with @Greg Ducato the recommendation was 4L80E. But of course the price was up there vs a powerglide that a a local friend could build.
Larry's wife goes with him every time and at least one of his sons races in each event. Both of his sons are going to Big Sky. Great family time!

Gear vendors setup will get him a little extra, but with what he has in that car a 4l80E shouldn't be out of reach!
