I had the same issue at Sick Smokies. Just to much cool to see.
I have been watching that build. Will be cool to see it run. But will it time travel? This is an Awesome project!

I don't remember. He said that it went to almost 10.5 psi the other night. How big is that compressor?
Gear vendors setup will get him a little extra, but with what he has in that car a 4l80E shouldn't be out of reach!I don't remember. He said that it went to almost 10.5 psi the other night.
11.16 was one of the time slips that I saw from RMRW.
He wanted to run a 4L60E to keep drivetrain loss lower and have OD, but after talking with @Greg Ducato the recommendation was 4L80E. But of course the price was up there vs a powerglide that a a local friend could build.
Larry's wife goes with him every time and at least one of his sons races in each event. Both of his sons are going to Big Sky. Great family time!
You would be surprised how he has found deals to build this car rather cheaply. Having a small shop for select work and buying complete vehicles to part out helps.Gear vendors setup will get him a little extra, but with what he has in that car a 4l80E shouldn't be out of reach!
