That’s far too many pictures of a boring 3010, but I like pictures.

Owned by my uncle and I now. Will be getting some attention this summer hopefully. 13010697_10205800089633850_4632118626421984441_n.jpg The pistons that went in the little B a couple years back. Just little 8:1, .125" over forged aluminum. Quite the improvement over the 4.7:1 stockers, though it needs 91 octane for general messing around, 100 low lead Av gas if on the pulling sled.

It’s almost thirty tears old.

It is a old now as a 3010 was when it was brand new..........

Man, we could use something like that for the business!
Took me a year to find something that I was acceptable to what I wanted. (Smaller machine)

It ended up being older then I wanted, but also cheaper. So it's a win.

Don't mind older. This is our 1940's forklift we use around the shop.

Got home with the parts tractor and began the tear down. I needed it down to a size I could lift with the engine hoist or my little tractor. I also put up a Costco garage at the barn so I have a place to work on the tractor to get it running again as well as keep it dry.

No, I did not run any wood through it. I am home by myself and did not want to bleed out. And without hands, I would not be able to call for help.

My buddies grandpa had one like that on an old Farmall C when we were in high school. His mounted to the front of the tractor and had a rack. We would cut logs to like 6' lengths with chainsaws then put them on the rack and it would tilt in towards the blade for cutting the logs down to firewood length chunks then we would haul them back to the farm and split it all. He sold it by the semi load to someplace down by Chicago. I always thought, man one slip and there goes your arm or worse.
