we have a couple. The beauty of the fast hitch on a small nimble tractor will be moving stuff around since with the fast hitch you can drop the drawbar to the ground and back it right in to the hitch of anything. It’ll be mainly used as a feed tractor and just handy run-around like what my H does now. Only with the H a guy needs to Carry a handy man jack
You can still do that with a three point, ya know...
They don’t go as low as a fast hitch. Our 826 was a fast hitch with 3pt adapters and it worked very very well
Threw some white spokes on the old David brown today. My brother in law had some leftover 16x7 wheels with 235/85R16 tires from his CJ that happen to be the same bolt pattern.
I picked up another garden tractor earlier this year, a ‘51 Economy with factory hydraulic lift. 
From some plow days this fall.

I know you've posted it several times, but I still scratch my head when I see two bottoms behind your lawnmower. Tractors that size aren't supposed to do the work of a 9N.
A J-D 318 isn't just a lawnmower...its small like one,but has enough guts and a decent transaxle to handle some rugged chores..
I like that Economy--I have come close to buying a few Economy tractors in recent years--saw one at the flea market that had a home made front end loader that was well built,looked factory,had a 12 gpm hydraulic pump,hydraulic plow & deck lift,and it had the rare dual transmissions,two Borg-Warner T-93 types coupled together..
Guy was willing to take $1000 cash for it at the end of the day,but I dont walk around with a grand on me ...he wasn't willing to have me come pick it up at his location,said he didn't need the money that bad,he'd keep it if he couldn't get a grand for it..cant say I blamed him because you dont see them very often for reasonable money here..
Saw a Pennsylvania Panzer tractor for $200 there this summer too,but it had just sold before I looked at it..was intact,original engine,not seized,but it looked like it was outside for 30 years..still very solid and restorable though..those had a 50's Plymouth narrowed rear diff in them...you dont see those here for under $500+ bucks even in rough condition..

I would love to meet the Allis engineer that decided this was the best location for a sediment bowl. 2.5 hours later with two of us working at it and we finally had it resealed and reinstalled. Talk about a nightmare
I deleted those on my garden tractors after having two crack the glass bowl when some water froze in them...couldn't find the right size replacement bowl,and though I could have bought the whole unit for under $10,I opted to put a in line universal "transparent" fuel filter in its place instead..
They glass sediment bowl fitlers do work well,they keep the water from getting to the carb,but overall they are a pain,they always seem to leak,you cant find the right sized bowl or gaskets,and the screen filter--I found that the pot pipe screens sold at the corner store happened to fit the bowls on my tractors,the guy at the counter gave me a strange look when I said "they're for my tractor,not a pot pipe"..but after the bowls broke I ditched them..

New toy. 
Bought it from my aunt for the excessively large sum of $300. My aunt and deceased uncle had it for almost thirty years. Been sitting for probably 12 years now. Needs some TLC but for a couple hundred bucks more, I figure I can have a good tractor that wont mind staying outside for the time being. If another tree falls on it, $150 in parts is no big deal, whereas my JD G, I hate to think what that would cost to fix.
Worst case, it gets the four inch bore, overbore sleeve kit with high compression pistons, probably the propane manifold, and a 450 cam... might as well...
I figure when my G JD gets tires, the G tires will go on the M. Which is actually what those tires came off of in like 2003.
