It would seem there are a few that aren't interested in waiting for a price and have secured their dash. So, that being said, I guess you can call anytime.

Unless we run in to something pretty major which I really can't see, i'm estimating right around $275.00 for the basic dash board like pictured. Of course that'd be with a box and door for the passenger side compartment.

Still got to source some stainless hinge yet.

Adding holes for gauges is nothing to do and won't add much to cost at all. Hard to say beyond that and hopefully I haven't spoken too soon.

Not a bad price at all really. Now what do you suppose it would cost to ship something like this to Ca. 94538 to be specific? Also, will that dash work in an 89 blazer with all the factory A/C-heater stuff and whatever else still in the rig?

x2 on the A/C info. This is great stuff Kert,:waytogo: I'm excited to see how it will turn out!

Kert, nice product and price! Still never made an aluminum dash for my blazer, I have all my Autom meter gauges sitting around for two years. Looks like we will be picking up one of those dashes soon.

We will be addressing the AC stuff ASAP. Another reason we got to go into a full cab. The Grade 8 cab has all the AC stuff intact. Mid to late 80's cab so it should all fit the same.

I'll get some shipping numbers together tomorrow. I'll have to go with the first prototype for some weights and boxed measurements. Another nice benefit of our two piece design. They'll drop together inside a fairly compact box.:wink1:

Is the VIN plate attached to the new dash? Let me know when you come up with a price for a driver's side only dash. This looks like a good project for the summer :)

You have to leave that attached to the original sheet metal. There is a cut out so you can see the VIN tho:D

definitly will be ordering the driver side as soon as its confirmed as an option and price ... this week is tires and install 3/4 tons then interior

Where is the splice?

does it fit dimensionally in the same spot as the stock one? my cage is pretty tight to the stock dash.
