And it continues build thread. Dead.. sent to the scrapyard

I mounted my battery on the firewall with a mount I made.

I didn't get much done today. I helped erik track down his wiring issue by tearing apart my harness :D

I did start on my doubler mount.

I can finish the other side when I get driveshafts :)

It looks wider:dunno:, okay don't make it narrower, and with you tracing your harness I think I got it figured out.

:D:D

Onto getting my brake lights to work

So mounted my transfercase so I could flex it out.

Front I am happy with

front stayed on the ground, but the rear started coming up so I stopped.

bad angle but the tire is about 1.5" away.

Once I get some weight in the bed hopefully it will be better. I really don't feel like pulling the overloads because those 63's are way soft.

My next issue is

1350 at the 14bolt
1330 at the 60

1310's on the 205

I have to confirm this tomorrow with calipers since I left mine at work

I have a 10 spline input 205, which most likely means I have a 10 spline front output, and a 32 rear. Swapping the rear shouldn't be an issue but finding a 1330 or 1350 for the front may be an issue. Ill have to search tomorrow.

Nice flex Jess! The 60 should have a 1310 stock. You can get a1350 yoke for around $70 if I remember right.

Also, a flange on the front output means 30 spline, a yoke is 10 spline.

So if I can't find a 1350 yoke for the front 205 I might just leave the front shaft all 1310 and the rear 1350. Makes for carrying spares easier. If I can find a flange to run 1350 I will upgrade to all 1350's

Its NEVER scrap. You'll find a place for pieces of it here and there:thumb:

Okay Jess heres the rub with 1350s vs 1310s they are stronger in a straight line, if you start introducing angle into them the 1350s don't look so good, in addition to that the 1310 will handle more angle overall than a 1350 will.

I don't like 1350s at all they don't have the angle capacity of 1310 or 1410. If you are going to spend money to upgrade go all the way up to 1410s.

With leaf springs you need all the angle capacity you can get

Thanks Eric. I plan on running the 1310's in the front. For the rear I plan on either swapping the saginaw flange off my 208 and clearancing the cv, and running the 1350 at the 14, or build a shaft with 1310 on one and and 1350 the other.

Well after 3 hrs and a bunch of wasted tube started on the engine cage. :doah::doah:

I will finish bracing and making shock hoops after I flex it out. But I have to wait till my driveshafts come in.

And since I just spent a bunch on drive shafts I started to paint the cage purple to appease the wife.
