And it continues build thread. Dead.. sent to the scrapyard

Got it started pulled all the plugs cleaned em up rechecked my wires. changed the TPS, and it fired right up. Ran it for 20 minutes. Hydro leak is gone, but I will need to add a cooler ASAP. Trans is still leaking a little, and I need to redo the oil pressure lines.

tested for bump and shock placement in the front. Gonna need to trim a little and limit uptravel to 3" due to crappy long tube headers in the way.

Don't lie, that's an RC crawler in the grass in your front yard on a pebble. :wink1:

Sweet! Functioning pics!

Are you going to fit some sort of a grill on there?

Got my shock tabs made and welded to the axle. Looks like I will have an amazing 2.5" of uptravel on both sides do to steering/ exhaust. You can see in the second pic its 3.5" till the spring hits the steering arm.

ORD has a pitman arm that tucks up closer to the frame if that will help. That's what I used.

even though uptravel at the shock is 2.5", since it's angular movement, the tire will have more uptravel than that.

You are correct, but it wont be that much more. I am not to concerned, as the 52's are known for droop.

And Heath, I am not going to bother right now, as I have no means of gaining more clearance for the otherside. That is until I buy better headers. It does not seem logical to have one side have more uptravel than the other. I guess I could clock my 205 down more, but I would rather have a flatter belly.

Hey Jess I essentially have 2.5 " of uptravel, wish I had more for dunes and stuff but it works fine.

My air bumps are 2" travel and they sit about a half inch off their landing pads.

For reference my bumps are mounted out board on the frame, and the bump pads are directly above the spring perches.

Well got somewhat of my shook hoops done. I stole daves Idea. Also the bumps are .5" off the pads and as long as the timbriens work the way the say. it will be a whopping 2.5" of uptravel as well. They are just tacked for now till I can go try it out.

Also extended my gas filler.

Fun times playing with a welder and torch on a 100 degree day, in a 104 degree barn. Needless to say I'm down about 5 lbs

Front shocks and bumps done.

Started on my winch mount. Going to probably redo it and do a feet forward mount, beneath and between the frame rails. Good thing I got all that steel for free.

Nice! When are you going wheeling?

Are you still considering moving west?

My driveshaft should be here today or tomorrow. I have to fix a bunch of leaks and paint the front cage. Thinking two weeks or so shakedown run at bundy.

Damn, you doubler dudes have long front driveshafts...
