Yeah, it will Jess, it won't let up for months either....

Hey you had a chance to get a pic of that steering column with the flat side on it?

I'll put em up tomorrow, as I plan to make a bunch of progress on my rig. The future wife will be out of town :) Anyways the exhaust made a huge difference on the k5. She almost turns the 33's over on pavement by just hittin the skinny pedal. Thanks again heath

Jess, thats great to feel the difference that much...nice to know your money spent was worth it.

Still coming to Kzoo tomorrow?
Did you want a Stuffed Pizza still, they don't open til 4???

Got a little done today. 14 is painted and waiting on kerts disc brackets. 60 is primed waiting on WFO arms. Finally got the doubler all together. It ended up being the shift collar. About 4hrs with a tapered file and she then slid freely.

Also watched my dad get his K5 stuck out back, I had to pull him out with the dmax since my truck has no driveline in it. When I pulled him out I ended up sinking the dmax. Luckily I got him out so he yanked me out. All in all fun
day

1st pic doubler back together and shifting smoothly horray for 4:1 low range :)
2nd pic is where he got stuck(sitting on the pumpkins)
3rd pic is aftermath of me flinging slop in the dmax pulling him out

Cool, bummer on the mud in the interior. That K5 is quieter than I expected, that was not floored at the end there was it?

Glad you got the doubler working, but 4 hours with a file, damn!

It might have been I'm not sure because I wasn't driving. It does sound nice at top end though, but thats about the only time it really sounds loud. He may run it like that for awhile, or he may go grab some thrush mufflers like me.

And yes 4 hours with a file sucked, but I took my time making sure I didn't fubar it.

That stock TBI and cam must be choking that 350, it sounds so mild, even through that exhaust. It's also hard to believe how quiet those mufflers are when they are basically wide open inside.

thats good stuff Jess, glad to see your pop having some fun with the new toy.

Well the 200 feet of tube I ordered won't be in till next tuesday. My order from kert got sent to the wrong address, and sent back to him. My WFO steering arms and kingpin spring elimination kit wont be here till next monday. What a week man nothing is going as planned

Luckily I still have to replace the rear main in my motor, and start bolting her back together. Kinda sad cuz I really wanted to have the suspension almost done and starting on the CAGE!!!! ahhh

Man Jess, I've had those days/weeks....a step or two back at times.
Its always good to have "filler work" when sh!t happens.

Haha yah, but the motor was out and I have an engine stand so it was wasn't bad at all.

Got the rear main replaced, then started buttoning her back up. I need a TBI gasket. Also noticed my flex plate is cracked so a good thing I had to replace the rear main. All the bolts were tight so I have no clue how it cracked.

I made an orb of traction as well
