And it continues build thread. Dead.. sent to the scrapyard

Hey congrats again Jess....I forgot what its like working with anything on my hands...hahha, can ya make the bonfire?

I actually worked on my rig the last two days. Hard getting used to working on stuff with this new ring on my finger :).

In about 2 - 3 weeks you'll get used to it, and then in the future it will feel funny if it's off. Congrats again, you hope to have the rig working this season, or you going to do some winter wheeling?

Right now things are crazy hectic in my life. Grandma and Grandpa just passed two weeks, and a week before my wedding. I am one of 5 recipients of the will/trust. So trying to get everything figured out there is consuming a bunch of my time. That and writing thank you letters! So not really sure. I may make it to the fire zim, I have to talk things over with the wife.

Sorry to hear that bud:frown1:

Its alright. I am a bit sad, but happy they no longer suffer. They both lived long and full lives. Hopefully I kill bambi's older brother early saturday and have the rest of the weekend to wrench on my rig.

Shackle angle is pretty crappy, but I have room for adjustment, plus I have more tube, a gas tank, spare, and gear to make the angle better.

So Jess you asked earlier about my gas tank. If you use a stock tank and a stock filler neck apparently it need some support.

I need to jb weld the filler neck where it does into the tank a little too much moving and it is about ready to come out. Leaks fuel pretty bad right now when I am on an angle.

So if you use the stock filler neck support it so it doesn't move around where it attaches to the tank.

Freak a simple tack weld would have totally prevented the problem for me :doah:

Hey man lookin good on all 4 wheels! Good to see some progress. Hopefully i see ya at daves sat with ma new goodies :D

Looks good, are you going to put a seat where the bed used to be?

Eventually, thats the reason I extended the cage like that. Right now I just need to get it all together and moving first. Gotta go drop my th350 off to get rebuilt just for piece of mind.

That was my plan, weld some scrap sheet metal, then drill and punch it out and bolt up the filler just like you would in a truck/blazer. Horray for me finally gettting to use my 400 dollar greenlee punch set I bought about 2 years ago :)

I actually worked on it today :) :) Feels good, gonna put in another 8 hours tomorrow too.

Dash bar, windshield support, and seat support bars.

Could have gotten more done, but I had a hole in my gas line for the welder. So in 2 hrs I went through a tank real quick. Got a replacement line, and a new tank so should be good to go tomorrow.

Needs more triangluation...:D

really looking good Jess!:waytogo:

thanks.

My plan is to make the rear somewhat pickup like. Going for what ord did for ultimate adventure.
