And it continues build thread. Dead.. sent to the scrapyard

Started sheet metal work. I hate it with a passion. It doesn't look good at all but its functional and no one will get cut if they happen to have their hand up by the pillar.

don't ya love all those spot welds Jess?

I know what ya mean with metal work....I don't mind it, but it takes me forever to get good results....a good body man can nail it first time, me....I put it together, mud it, sand it, mud it again, sand it, mud, sand, mud, sand....etc...

Looks like it'll work Jess, wide open too! And why is it that the camera angle makes your dual toolboxes look like they are 3 ft tall? :haha:

Yah they kinda do. Its because I have my truck on the trailer to make it easier to make it easier to move around.

You can see my where I messed up but I fixed it with a 1" block :) Yup I pulled an eric

I have no idea what you are talking about.

I kind of like the whole partial cab thing but you are gonna cut it off eventually I know you will!

I would still like to do some mud in my truck my I do need to figure out a way to keep the mud from hitting me in the back of the head

That explains a lot, I was wondering why the rig looked so high, plus then it makes what, double easier to move around! :D

Yah I will cut it off eventually. I'm trying to make the cage so that I will have protection if I put another seat in. (this is after I cut the bulkhead) But since there is nothing going to be there other than a gas tank and a spare tire I'm at a loss.

Eric I was looking through the horton pics. What are you doing for a gas filler? I can't quite see it in the pics. I was gonna put a fuel cell in but, I have the blazer tank and everything to make it work. Since I am paying for my own wedding I have to cut the truck budget a little.

It just has a the normal hose just kind of stuck in there with the vent blocked off, kind of a pain to fill but not too bad. I was going to use a fuel cell too, but already had the blazer tank, factory fuel pump etc. It has been good too, I don't think I will do anything with it till I can make my own fuel cell that used the factory fuel pump

I will go take some pics Jess

Thanks man

Hey, it covers the holes, and the sharp edges...a functional job well done!

I'm getting pretty darn good with the bender. Need to pick up a hole saw to make copeing a little easier.. I suck at that. But anyways got a good chunk of the main cage done today.

I am upset with myself for cracking my perfect windshield though. I guess its one step closer to truggy. I did it while taking the tube out I didn't rotate the tube perfect and it hit the window. Oh well its on the passenger side :)

Full tube full tube full tube full tube. Heres the pics of where my filler neck is Jess.

Pretty non creative and it takes a while to fill the tank and I doubt I will ever change it until I build a fuel cell

That is the factory blazer hose and stuff didn't even cut it down just took it out of where it was and used it

Hey Jess, any thoughts on tying the windshield frame into the front bar?

It's lookin' good, I like the way it's tucked up real tight to the body (what's left of it). And it'll be cool to have it wide open when wheelin, as long as it's not raining.

Fair weather wheeler:rolleyes: Thats what me and my son love about his truck, we'll just go out and cruise with the top off BECAUSE its raining:D Though mud n sand may be a little different:thinking:

:flipoff10: :truck:

Actually when it rains on the sand it makes it easier because the sand becomes heavier and you get more traction.
