Anybody heard of a "desert fox edition" K5/jimmy?

I just watched an episode of Magnum P.I. today, and he was running around in a Jimmy. I couldn't stop drooling over it. Neat paint, and it had two huge "GMC"s painted on the hood. No carpet in the bed tho. Magnum PI in a blazer, it was a pretty sweet moment. here's a pic i found on the internet.

I always dug those Hickey lo-pro hoods ... wish they were still around. I betcha that extra inch or two would make a big difference on a lifted truck.

Yes, I did notice a differance in that 2". Found one at a local swap meet years ago for $40.00 I'm still looking for more of these hoods

come on I'm 20 and I remember ChiPs:

Dig the chunky tires too.

Hell, I'm 31 and I don't ever remember seeing ChiPs as anything other than reruns on daytime TV as a kid but I know about it. Common, Eric Estrada's made the rest of his "career" off that show.

God, soooo cheesy.

Holy ****, when did Carrot Top buff out?

USBODY.com has a "stepdown" hood for the 73-80 and 81-87 trucks.
A buddy had one on his 79 and it looked killer. You lose the latch thou.

Is it wrong to collect the DVD's for Chips? I have season 1 and 2 and waiting patiently for season 3 to come out.:o

when he started taking roids:haha:

on a serious note, he looks rough. but thats just my thought lol
No ****, at first I was trying to see how they put his face on some convict's body.

No wrong-er than owning the DVD's for Magnum PI, Dukes Of Hazzard, A-Team, Knight Rider ...

OBTW, a good resource for such things is "tvshowsondvd.com" ... they have a thing you can sign up for where they send you emails about the shows you select, so you get emailed when new releases come out :D
