Anybody in the Michigan area need a free Chalet shell-only?

How do you find out more info about the listings on the chalets for sale map?....
Two ways, members of our Yahoo Chalet forum (a free sign-up, our CK5 man "azblazer" is the creator and owner of it) can download the contact list which corresponds to the map, or non-members here at CK5 can PM me for specifics. By not making the contact list an outright public thing, that probably saves the sellers from their contacts being picked up by spammers....

PM sent to you on that particular CT one.

Much thanks. I will let you know what they have to say.

Which "him", the one with the free shell-only or that other complete one on ebay that "Blue85" is referring to? The shell-only is #0469 built in 7/76 which I mentioned in my post #25 after talking with the now MIA girlfriend of the owner who emailed me pics. The actual owner had joined CK5 and put in just two posts here, #20 & 21 in this thread. He never did post his pics....

The complete one is #0248 built in 7/76, which I got from that seller last year as well. I'm surprised that guy hasn't backed off his price, it's about a grand too much considering how bad off the Blazer is.

Remember to keep an eye on my map of all the ones for sale, there is - to the best of my knowledge - still the gutted free shell-only in NW Iowa...

Wait...how did I miss this? NW IA is not too far away for a Chalet shell. Any idea what condition it's in? This is quite tempting.

I just have the one photo of that #1033 shell-only temporarily put on a Dodge, my guess is the interior is just plain bare walls, perhaps even stripped of that foam/vinyl covered wallcovering. Don't know about the pop-up material, but almost all of these need new material anyway since the factory vinyl material nearly always shrank.

This particular owner is quite leery of people who say they want to pick it up but never show up, so you really want to get it before contacting him. Some other guy made two halfhearted attempts to get it from Denver, and then went silent, which made the owner really mad.
