anyone have dual tanks on thier burb?

I'm trying to get my 40 gallon under this thing but to keep the filler neck on the stock side I have to mount it kinda above the rear axel. or if I turn it around to have the filler on the pas side, I then have the joy of body work filling in the stock hole and making a new passenger side hole. and it sits right behind the bumper. So I was thinking what about adding another stock size tank and doing one out each side? I think the stock tank is a real narrow but deep tank.

plus no waiting in line at the gas station, I could hit either pump,LOL

What are you working on? The burbs had a 40 gal tank available from the factory. They also had a 32 gal. but that one wasn't as popular as the 40.

my 68 burb they had like a 16 or 20 gallon bubble tank.

I wouldnt want to fill up dual 40 gal tanks

I'm confused here. what year and vehicle are you working on? Where are you trying to mount the tank/s behind rear axle between framerails, or front of rear axle outside framerails?
