Anyone know this member?

Nope. He said the an e-mail to me a few weeks ago that the post office returned his boxes as the weights of the boxes were less than what he told them. Then he said he was gonna ship them out the next day. So, they are supposed to be coming thru USPS, not UPS. :(

That doesn't sound right to me. If the packages were heavier than the estimated weight they wouldn't take them. Lighter they'd ship it regardless as it costs them nothing. If he shipped them USPS they would probably go individually unless they shipped oversize.

Not so much as oversized, but with USPS, I'd just like to know how long it takes to get them.
Regular letter mail can be sent and received in like 2 days. Packages like this can be expected in how long? Thats what I want to know.

Well It may take up to month I oredered a PAW catolag and it took almost 3 weeks I'm sure he sent them like 20th class or something like that

if anybody boned any of yall around here i would be glad to take a few hours out of my day to drive to their doorstep and have a few words with them, im glad to know so many others would do the same

I will give the guy the benefit of the doubt until I get the tracking number. Maybe another week and then check my other "options".

There is only one way he could have shipped them if he used USPS; Parcel Post. That is similar to UPS ground service and should take 7 to 10 days average inside the US.

Priority is 2-3 day air service but a big package like a rim is very expensive to ship.

The last e-mail was from on 1/1/06 and he replied with "
Sorry for the delay. I will get the tracking number from my wife and e-mail it to you tonight.
Matthew"

I still have yet to receive the tracking number. :(

8/4/06 and still nothing from this member thus far.

I'm giving him today and Saturday to see if these wheels show up or not.

Monday, I think I will unleash the dogs of CK5.

Just an idea how long this has been dragging for:

Paid for rims on 7/12/06 and here we are just over 3 weeks later.

Here are some things to conceder
1. unless he paid extra for a tracking # there are no tracking #s on USPS parcel post.
2 It can take the USPS as long as 14 days to deliver.
3. About USPS returning for wrong weight. They are very picky They return packages for odd reasons.

I buy and sell a lot on Ebay and have had some issues with USPS.
Most recent one was last month. I bought a stereo for my daughters car off Ebay. 10 days went by no package. Emailed seller. They didn't know what happen said they sent it. Decided to wait a couple of more days. Got Email fron seller next day saying that the package was returned because 1 digit was wrong in the zip code. USPS refused to deliver package even tho the rest was addressed correctly. They resent Fed x got it in 3 days.
Another time I sent out an item that was purchased from me. Buyer never got the item after 14 days. Rather than go thru negative feedback stuff I refunded his money. A few days later I get a Email from the guy sating the package had finally arrived and that he had transfered money back in to my PP account. Nice guy!

Those are just a few bad experiences I have had with USPS. Give the guy at least 10 days from when he shipped them the second time. USPS can be very slow with parcel post.

You have 45 days from date of payment to open a claim with paypal.

Each time he replied or sent an e-mail or PM, he said he would get a tracking number for me. I have yet to see one.

Here's the first e-mail I got from him, dated 7/24/06:

Hey, I got the wheels back today from The post office. They rejected my
estimated weight. I did it online through my work account, They will go
back out tomorrow. I will take them in to the post office in person
this time. Sorry about the delay. Thanks for your patience, anybody else
would be freaking out right now, well within reason. So thanks again.

Matt

Then on 8/01/06, I got an e-mail from him:

Sorry for the delay. I will get the tracking number from my wife and e-mail it to you tonight.
Matthew

Never heard back from him after that. I'm beginning to crap my pants now. A few PM's had him quoting that he would get back with a tracking number but again, nothing.
I'd feel better and safer if I only knew a tracking number(s). :(

Today marks 10 days since he "should" have sent them from the second try. I will still give him tomorrow and then we'll see what happens on Monday.
