It has a crazy angle but the carrier bearing supports tha shaft. I have been running this set-up for 2 years now. I still have lots of flex with my limmiting straps. My springs are just skyjacker 4inch. This winter, the blaze will no longer be around.....Buggy time.boz42 said:It is an ingenious way to solve a problem, the angle looks bad though & the part of the shaft that droops looks short(might be the pic I can't tell), how has it held up for you? Are you running 52's up front?
There is a carrier bearing on top of the crossmenber.SierraClassic said:How do you keep that shaft from flopping around at the middle joint?

I've got stock manifolds with 2-1/2 inch pipes going into a flowmaster brand Y pipe. 3 inch out to hi-flow cat and magnaflow muffler exits behind tire. It works much better than stock. I'm not going to mess with headers this time around... GEARS INSTEAD!Ben B. said:Thx for the replies so far guys.
What do I do about the Y pipe? Do I buy one separately or get it done right there at the shop? Should the Y pipe be 3" coming right off the headers the whole way down?
