ARAMP1's Ultimate TowRig Build Thread

The threads not totally up to date, but you're not missing a whole lot. I'm TDY for another month then I'll be over in A-Stan until the end of the year. Hopefully I'll have some time to wrench when I get back.

Be safe over there, my little brother is currently there for a couple more months and it seems like things are going downhill.

No doubt. I've got a few online friends with air starters and one of them was telling me about the first time he drove his truck into town and let it sit for a couple hours. Well, he had a small leak which depleted the system and couldn't get the truck started.

I plan on having (eventually) a small electric compressor for a backup.

Odd bump from long ago, but I am re-reading this thread. Are you going to install an inlet with a ball valve and a male quick couple to your air system, so you can hook up shop air to fill the system? That what a lot of people have on farm trucks.

Martin

Haha, I knew I should have finished re-reading the entire thread before posting. I forgot you went with an electric starter....

Are you going to still run on board air?

Martin

Yeah, I'll still have on board air. The transmission needs it (as well as the horn :) )

Nice build! I had a 72 international with a 3-53 a while back. It was the most obnoxious thing ever. I loved it.

Can't believe I've never seen this build before! Subscribed for more two stroke goodness

Is it only certain threads for you as well? I'm not sure what all parameters they use to decide to block the pictures

No not really. All photobucket hosted photos are being locked, some sooner than others.
