Unbolt the swaybar ends and just zip-tie them up and out of the way for now.

Lots of people say to just remove it, but it will depend on how soft your springs are and how much body roll you are comfortable with on the street.

:usaflag:
This is what I did, then went for a test drive, and after about 8-10 miles I went back and took it off.
If its just a little to much you can get stiffer shocks.Skyjackers would probably work.

flex is always sweet and a smooth ride is nice too. youve got a 4 or a 6 inch spring im guessing and do you notice any hairier of a ride on the street if it sees any? mines my DD and its like a cement truck because of my shackle angles.

6" front springs. In combonation with my soft rear suspension, its got a fair amount of body roll(maybe i just drive fast), but although it hasnt moved on its own in over a year, it drove great and never had any problems. IN the next couple weeks, it will be back to driving again and driven a few times a week.

When i did my lift i took the advice of some CK5'ers and compeltely ditched the swaybar. I'm running 4" springs and 35's and it rides and handles pretty well. Flexes really well too compared to my K5 and my dad's K5 w/ 4" lift and swaybars whiched barely moved in the front.

If you're getting dangerous amounts of body roll w/o a swaybar you need to adjust your driving habits and realize that you're in an old ass, lifted truck. ;)

looks like you need a longer shackle in the rear. that looks like the stock one. no matter what, that is impressive flex.

Up front- wasted blazer 52's. Scrap metal fabbed relocated dropped front spring hangers, scrap metal modified stock front quad shock mounts, approx. 7.25" center to center shackles, 14" stroke blistien 5125's, rear 300000+ mile stock 56's, same blistien shocks on scrap metal upper mounts, flex pictures brought to you by - juanblzer (long travel front d- shaft) VikingWarlord (blazer 52's) Vastco Inc. (longfeild super axle cv's and most of the scrap metal) and of course CK5, thanks for the love brothers!:D

So to put things in dumb terms for me, you're running 52's up front w/ longer shackles and 56's out back w/ shackle flip?

Freakin sick flex man. That pic's really inspiring me to look further into tinkering w/ spring swaps.

YES and thanks!!!

yeah im totally gonna do my front shackle like posted above then 56s in the rear with some bitchin shackles. then after that probably some 52s up front.

the thing I have not mentioned is that my truck is SQUIRELLY S.O.B on the road - need stiffer shocks

That seems pretty good lizard, you runnin anything special or just the stock shackles, with the 4" springs. How bad do them 36's rub or did you trim it up with only runnin 4" lift?
