You could also toss a 1-2" body lift on there. /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif

What about the firewall??? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif Your Samurai sword needs a sharpening too before you try to trim anything else. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Just beat your inners back and bolt them to the cab floor. That's what I did and it worked out great for me.

As to shackle angle, I guess I'm the shackle angle awareness coordinator now. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

What I did when I was having the same problem ws find a good place to flex. Well actually, I used pliers and a bfh to beat all of the sharp edges out of the fenders so that they wouldnt cut the tires. Then I flexed it out the most I could and looked where it was rubbing the inners. Then I started the cut with a dremel tool, and cut out the rest of the inner fender with a sawzall. I just cut out a square, just under that piece of metal with the two bolts in it, and made it wide enough that the tire wouldnt hit the outside edge. Than I used the bfh again to make sure all of the edges were nice and round. I hope this helps. I sure wish I had some recent pics of the cutting to show you but I dont. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

shh, I don't think it is going to be flexy enough to meet the firewall but we shall see. ANd you haven't even seen those cuts yet, they are nastier than they appear /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. I just need to get an airsaw before I continue is all.

I cut back my inner fenders too. It looks like you have enough there to do the same thing. I used spray foam to fill the gap of the 2 layers of outer fender. This will keep the mud and snow out. I painted the foam black, and it looks good. I also cut the rear quarters, lots of room now. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif I have pictures....dont know how to post them....I am good with a /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif Not so good with a computer.

I just wanted to say thanks for the ideas. I cut out part of my inner fender and trimmed back the outer more. I'd like to refine it some yet, but it didn't rub a tire all weekend /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Note: don't those 36" IROKs look a bit small now??
