Its been quite a while since I've been on here, sold my Suburban and haven't had much cool going on. But today I pretty much stole this C/60 from an auction on Big Iron. $975 for it, and I figured it would go for 3-4K due to the perfect cab. 366 that hasn't run in a while, looks like a bad coil and some plug wires, plus a leaking rear main from the inspection cover in the cab. We are going to use it on our small farm here in Alabama mostly for gathering wood chips, hauling hay, and as a flatbed. Way cheaper than a trailer!

Thats a great find! My brother in law has an 88 c70 somebody offered him 20 grand for a couple of weeks ago, also has the 366. They are handy around a farm

He didn't sell it?

Those are worth nothing around here anymore. There is an old guy that buys them and scraps them north of me.

It'll stay in the family. My fil bought it new and it has 6000 miles on it and the interior looks brand new. It'll go to one of the grandkids someday

They are all over the place in the midwest but I haven't seen too many down here, other than log trucks. I am trying to get it next weekend.

Also, does anyone have the GM factory dimension drawings for a 67-72 C60? The heritage site doesn't have anything and all I can find is a '77. It will fit on my trailer but it will be close.

How big is you trailer?
And do you know how long is the bed?
I know that the one I am looking at is a 14' bed

Damn - thats a nice one. She's a keeper.. Especially at that price. I guy ought to get about 8 of them, they would make a hell of a mobile fence for nosy f'ing neighbors. :D

Its a 189" wheelbase with a 16' grain box on it. My trailer is a 20'+5' with the ramps folded over. I am going to winch it up, tie it down and book it back here. The ramps might have to come off if they can't stand up with the box overhang.

Yeah that's a long trailer.
The one I am looking at runs with no reverse.
$1000
I am going to get it.

We have a 88 c70. It has disk brakes front and back! Interior is minty. 366 5 speed with a 2 speed rear. 16 foot grain box. Truck is in really nice shape we bought it at a auction 10 years ago or longer. I think it was 18 thousand.

I honestly don’t think it is that useful. Under powered And small. It’s ok for hauling fertilizer.
