Axle ID D44 front

Thanks for the info, still bizzare it’s not in any of the manuals, I suppose it doesn’t really matter at the end of the day. I’m just kind of OCD with knowing the history on my stuff.
 
Yes, my old 74k20 came with that same exact axle. I've seen them in 4.09 ratio as well.
Add another who has come across several K/20 D44’s w/4.56’s and countless w/4.09’s. Back when a work truck came equipped with a proper gear ratio and was common place…
 
Common then to for fronts to be 4.09s and rears at 4.11, not every corporate axle had a spicer equivalent and vice versa
