I've got a 4" lift on 35's and you seen how much trimming had to be done for clearance. The back of the front fenders will need a lot of cutting if you go 4", as well as the front.
The front of the back wheel well might need some too.
Hey, it's just extra sheet metal and weight you won't need.

I measured mine and it is 12 1/2 from top of axle tube to bottom edge of the bumb stop bracket. Where the metal and rubber touch.

Yeah, that's only an inch higher than my truck, but I don't have a BL on mine. All that tire sure puts the truck up there, though. Carl's 'burb is 13 1/2inches from tube to bump brkt, but he's only running 37's. That puts the body on yours 3 1/2" to 4" higher than his.
I guess looks are just deceiving.
Ok got these cleaned up and ready to go in, its a th400, 32 spline 205, I am in need of a shifter for this set up. Its a round pattern 86 combo, I need the shifter and the linkage.
I also think its too tall. I'm thinking of 4" with the zero rate to move the front forward and a shackle flip in the rear with the original springs and a zero rate to move the axle back to the right spot. I love the look of it, but I think for what I want to do, John Bull, calico and such its just too tall. Probably great for mud.

I would not get the diy flip with a long 6 inch shakle that's what i have and it seems to lift it a bunch more than the 4 claimed( i think with a shorter stock length shackle its 4) here is a thread i was working on with the mesurments.. i can pull it off if ya help and want to try it out.. im preaty much set on the ord or im going to cut up the diy. And get the cross tied shakle i did not and they seem to flex a bit but that might save the bushings it just looks a little weird when flexed. opinons?

Dean I'll check with my dad and myself to see if we have the shifter for the 205.
Ernie, just give Dean the one that is on your "blazer". It's not like you ever wheel said blazer. Even if you do own some beige blazer you claim to have it probably only sees 2wd.

yeah thats an option twin stick, I just called Randy's for the stock one and he doesn't have one. but he can get me a twin stick set up minus the rails for $300
that guy gets me on his prices. he is always so much more than anyone, but worth a try for the stock deal.
