Back In the Saddle Again

Well boys she’s back on the road! Didn’t get a pic because I was busy putting that TC back in. Filling that TC on a slope was ridiculous. Pretty sure I got more ATF on me than in the TC. But it shifts great.
I took it for a spin up the main road over here OPEN HEADERS :rotfl:
setting off car alarms like a choreographed light show hahaha

Not sure if I should bring the mufflers back further or just dump them here
I would definitely go over the axle and out. Mine is stopped short because of the four link and I thought it was way better when it went back and turned out. But hey it’s only temporary anyway, because you’ll be redoing it at least once if not two more times haha.

Hmm,

I put the truck in 4hi and my front wheels spin fine however my rears lock up and skid about ever 1/4 rotation.

This makes me think the gear ratios don’t match. Which was probably the cause for all of the PO’s problems.

Ooh that’s no bueno.

Well, got the interior put together fully. Took a heat gun to that vinyl and got it looking good. Traced that parasitic drain from the battery and found a burn wire from the alternator. Fixed that up.

I’m getting amped up about getting this old top off and getting my soft topper.
