"Backcountry Limo"

Sorry about that
In the beginning of your build, your fenders were white, I thought they were aftermarket fiberglass.
Well thank you is order than. It's been a long process.

Muddysub,
my deadline is my North Idaho Train to Hunt challenge. I decided to plan a week long trip on backcountry discovery routes in Idaho and oregon with a couple layovers in historical destinations. Jess had mentioned that a trip with no kids would be cool for our anniversary, hiking or driving. It should be fun. [emoji2]

Got it pressure washed. Cowl and screen removed to clean out the needle catching mouse haven to find it in pretty good shape. Silicone is cracked out but no rust holes. The windshield frame looks decent also so maybe I'll get away without using sealer/adhesive by the case. I'll get it pulled out this week and have it replaced.
I also s t rated pulling the interior trim out of the back. Once it's all out, I'll measure for the bed deck and the diesel fuel cell.

Got some time to pull interior trim tonight.
Pulled the side panels in the back. The window trim in the back and along the top around the doors. Pulled the visors, and was commissioned by the boss to spray weed killer before it got to dark.

I'm going to pull the sheet metal at the top of the windshield to fix that dent. I want to do that before I go to much further. I'll be headed to Salt lake city at the end of the month and it would be nice to have exhaust and a windshield done while I'm out of town. Once the dent is fixed I can spray the primer around the edges.

The current roof rack is going to come off. I've decided that I will do a new set of bars that goes the full length. We're talking about a roof top tent in the near future so building a basket would be pointless. I'll just do maybe 5 bars across. That way I can put the cargo carrier up there with shovel, axe and spare tire for now.

I'll be putting at least one 20" Reflex light bar on the bumper with two in the grill of unknown size yet. I'll have one facing each side and a light to the back.

Jessica says that I have to replace the seat belts cause she's tired of using a screwdriver to unlock the recoil mechanism to put them on. [emoji2]

I scuffed up the back corner and test sprayed the primer to see how much prep work I'm going to put into it this weekend. Sunday is supposed to be really nice and perfect for spraying.

Got the rest of my lights from VisionX Thursday before leaving for Lincoln City. So I have a box full of lights to install. A new roof rack to build. A passenger door to install guts in and align. A couple sheets of plywood to build my bed deck. And I have some errands to run in town this weekend before flying to Salt lake monday. Phew, this is going to be a busy weekend. Oh yeah, and all of the house/property chores to do also. If I can get tapatalk to upload pics for progress I will. Otherwise it will have to wait till next week

Finally got a picture to upload. On WiFi in a Salt Lake City hotel.

Pulled the original door and installed a straight one. The hinges need to be adjusted though and the guts put in it

Gutted all the trim and side carpet. I'll cut the floor and put flat bar to hold an access door. I'll than put the peel and seal over the top. No hinge needed just a knife to cut the insulation. I'll probably put a sender in at the same time.

I didn't get a single suburban thing done this weekend before leaving for salt lake. Jess intercepted the project list. She said my gym was gross, smelly and unusable for anyone else. Not now
