Ok, so I've been off work for a little over a week with headaches. I slept the first four days and now I've been stir crazy the last couple. Hence the late night web wheeling. I got fed up this afternoon and called a buddy.
me: "What are you doing?"
kevin: "Just finished watching the Beavers win again!"
me: "Want to go up to Shotgun and run that trail?"
keving: "Sure, I'm bringing a friend."
He followed me up in her Toyota FJcruiser. Total street rig, but she wanted take it out. He bypassed everything with it except the log jam. She likes taking pictures and I needed Kevin to spot me. Perfect. I had yet to finish this trail that everyone had been telling me was a "Mild" run. Yeah, it was mild if you bypassed the first 3/4 mile of it. There was a turn around at that point and a marker with a "Black Diamond" on it. Doesn't that mean difficult? Somebody had been fibbing. It had 50 yard section to give you walking fits. Wasn't no "Mild" but wasn't real "Wild" either. Here are the photos.
