bb '10 first timer and for moab

And by the way, I've done the 'Moab and fancy food' thing as well. There used to be a fine dining restaurant (sort of across from the Rio - actually, I think it's closed now...), and while it was worth the $$$ at that time, I found that I'm just as happy at Zax on Sunday nite...

For me, the Moab trips have become about the combination of good company and fabulous trails. I've made good friends there, carried away many pictures, but most importantly, came home every time with memories to last a lifetime.

After all, t'was the year of the famous 7-wheeler...

I resemble that remark!

Also, not all American beer is water, just the popular ones :haha:. The Moab brewery only has one beer that is over the 3.2% limit, you can't order it if you're in the bar, you have to order it with food in the restaurant section and they bring it out to you in a closed bottle that you can either open and drink there or take home with you.

alright , got an rv spot at slickrock . and i'm pretty exited. monday im going to go get my rig out of storage and start in on it.

my rig hates me. i need to jetpack parts in from randys rp . no such thing as fuel injection. good news is the winch works great and i have a rookie co driver...

welding the steering stabilizer mount to the tie rod a good idea if i broke the supplied ubolts with a ipact?
think i should still go for the trifecta with a carb and a stock stubb shaft?

so got alot done , mostly just jot parts and the front end stripped but this is hoe it will sit untill tuesday which is my next day off ( i leave for bb wed) and the reason y i cant pull an all nighter on it to getit rockin as my shop is actually a gated storage facility

its should be like a 21 hour trip for me and my co-pilot , cant decide whether to pound straight through or stop in albequerqe wednsday night>>

Well see you there. Unless you got a second driver, take the stop and rest. I can't count the number of times I've fallen asleep while driving on trips like that.

I am also a first time attendee and staying at the slickrock campground.
Where do you meet up to go wheeling? I would assume there are different trails for different abilities of truck... do i just make friends at the campground friday night and latch on to their route? Is there a pre-designated course? I have never been here before, so i dont even know the lay of the land.

Unfortunately my truck is still not ready, so i will be driving a bone stock M1009 with no doors.

Your from San Jose? Depending on when you arrive, you can look for my white k5 and say hello. People will be out on the trails during the day, but after that the camp I full of people fixing broken stuff.
