If you got it, flaunt it! I don't have anything else going for me, so I'm going to flaunt my A/C.

Just LS swap it
Lol!! I have to agree. That’s got to eliminate the stalling!
And we have seen you accomplished mush more complex modifications in an even shorter amount of time.

Is it still giving you trouble with the cam sensor?
Yes, but that's not the problem now. When the crank sensor would fail, the engine would sputter or stall with no dash lights (eventually it would pop the crank sensor code or a missing code). At KoH it was something different. Cruising across the lakebed it would just randomly stall and restart. When the engine would die all the dash lights would come on like when you turn the ignition on but don't start the truck. Swapping the crank sensor didn't help.

Just LS swap it
I wasn't planning on going through all that work on a chassis that's trashed, but it certainly is an option. I'm not sure I could get it installed with working A/C by September though... Plus if my wiring harness is the problem, the LS swap doesn't necessarily fix that. One of the options I was considering was to get a Holley ECU that could run either an LS or the 4.3, that way when I put the LS in I would be ready, but for now the engine would run properly (in theory).

Also, Amber and I busted our asses in the garage this weekend, half of one wall is painted up to the 8' mark, 15 lights installed and 4 ceiling fans (just need to finish up the switch wiring). I should be able to pull the S-10 in this afternoon or tomorrow to start working on it (need to get the ram rebuilt and install the new P/S pump before I can even drive it).

Heck, even some of the ones that say Vortec on them aren't Vortec...
