Started going through the video footage. Here's me coming down that high dive of a hill from the Hot tubs on Hell's Revenge.
That's no shit!
I'm so glad Wade stopped us as we pulled away from the hot tub. He said I really spot both campers over this one. So he pulls ahead and drops over the edge where it looked like all I could see was the bottom of his bumper and rear axle from the back.
We listened to Wade, lined up in the spot and took the blind leap of faith. Had Wade not spotted I would have had to got out to survey the section. Pretty easy to follow the black stripes but from up top once you can see them.
Ya it’s definitely different when your going down it . Last year I laid my blazer on its side in the smaller hot tub then when we left as I nosed over to start down the hill my blazer died due to carb issues was fun two footing the thing to get it fired up then getting in back in gear to go down.
We had a K5 end up on its lid there in 08 or 09 I think. It's a very infamous spot in Blazer Bash lore.
I'll tell you that's one if the things I liked about tube doors on Hells, you can still see the tire marks even when you're on top of them.
