I had a motel room reserved earlier for $150/night and canceled figuring I saved more on the room than I added in fuel with the big rig.
I spent a total $700 on the big rig.
Not bad and I slept in it 5 nights

This was the first time to stayed in a Hotel, we've always stayed at Moab Valley RV in the cabins. La quinta was nice with free breakfast, but the tour bus people were a PITA saturday morning. It sucked being away from everyone but it was alright. Not sure what we'll do next year.

I liked the breakfast at the hotel just south of Moab Valley. But staying in the cabin makes it handy to have the truck so close to the door.
I don't know. Having bacon and eggs, toast and fresh coffee made in the cottage/cabin was awesome. Especially if the cook is wearing nothing but bra and panties. And NO.....I wasn't the cook. All my panties were dirty. 
If it's in the budget, get a cabin or cottage. You just have to make reservations early.

Ok got the time off work and made a reservation for lodging at Moab Valley RV since I want a cabin. Now its thrash time,
