As part of the ritual sacrifice of virgins, how about all the BB or Moab n00bs give their $.02 and maybe some light introductions?

Then we will know what to raz you about when you get there

Dammit I guess I’ll start, this will be my first time to Moab. I just got my buggy back together after sitting for the last 2yrs and 4 months. We took it out for a shake down run last weekend on Spring Creek, going to take another run this weekend hopefully. One more trip in July then spend August going back over it and doing maintenance on the truck and trailer. Can’t Wait!

How about not only will this be my first time to Moab, it will also be my first time going on a road trip greater than 1,000 miles (and I’ll have my wife and kids with me), AND ... this is the best part .... this will be my first time wheeling in almost 12 years! Lol, it’s like riding a bike right? I used to do some gnarly stuff in my decently built Jeep back in the day though on what I like to refer to as “southern Moab terrain” ie South Georgia north Florida red clay....

Here’s my rig as it sits now, patiently waiting for bumpers. Rusty ol 1988 burb with a naturally aspirated 1996 506 6.5 Diesel with just about everything attached to the block updated. 700R4 rebuilt with all the goodies. 1992 Dodge Dana 60 completely rebuilt with 4.88s, Ox locker, 35 spline chromoly shafts inner and outer, Yukon locking hubs. 1972 GM 14 bolt rebuilt with 4.88s and a Detroit. ORD Custom springs, Bilstein 5125 front and 5100 rear shocks, PSC hydro-assist steering, Borgeson steering shaft, ORD crossover steering, and all kinds of things replaced in an effort to “restore” the truck as I go along. More to come as well.

That has got to be about the cleanest 6.5 engine bay I have seen.

I am nice to the new guys, until I find out they have Acrophobia. Then it is on.

I completed your dare within an hour of my first time in Moab and after just pulling in from a 27 hour straight through drive sooo......:flipoff11:
