BB19 Carnage thread

Fuel pump #3 just sh!t the bed. At least I made it back to camp.

I'm sure there will be a lot of picks, but Jack flopped Shrunken Ned, Stephen flopped the ORD ultimate Adventure rig, and Keith broke a hub (and outer axle), all in the Devels Hot Tub. Was a entertaining day

The convertible?

So far the damage report is pretty minimal for my ride. The extreme approch and departure angles took a toll on my rear bumper. Scraped a couple of times or more. Bent the hell out of my plate and my Jerry can rack.

Not bad considering. One more trail to go.

My winch failed to operate to help @Blazooki when he flopped in the hot tub. Just clicked at the solenoids.

How's that go about putting the whammy on oneself? A third of the way through flat iron and climbed some crazy shit, I got crossed up in a weird spot and absolutely destroyed my right side axle shaft, inner, outer and joint. Pruned the ears clean off of both. U-joint was nowhere to be found. @Capt Ron found these two chunks in the dirt.

Oh the Carnage....

Needless to say I hopped out on the bypass first chance I got. I did have to get winched over one ledge right after I broke. Much appreciated to all that got me over it.

4 others with various issues to the bail off road with me to lick our wounds and come back to camp.

With time to kill I made some wicked fajitia steak quesadillas from our leftovers from the night before last. Another benefit of having the fridge.

Really bad day, pump #4 lasted less than 5 min. Looks like Blazer Bash is done for me this year.

Think you have something else going on to burn them out?

The last one I wired up straight to the batteries to eliminate any voltage issue possibility. I also installed a low pressure lift pump and checked all lines for a y obstructions.

I'm at a complete loss. Rest of today and tomorrow will involve lots of alchohol.

Mine did that too. Just smack the motor with a hammer while energizing it. Brushes get stuck.
