BB19 Carnage thread

So I had to deal with this a few times on Friday, tighten the bolt up, then look half hour later and it was loose again. Not sure what the issue is but I'll endeavor to find a solution. Perhaps it's just time to give up and sell it?
You'd get way more money from the race car if you part it out. I'll take the engine and all the shocks/bumps.

I will add one more. Got home at 3:20pm today. Sat and caught up with Eileen and had dinner.
Unloaded the Jimmy. Kept turning passenger as I backed off of the semi and the Jimmy front end kept going passenger...??????
I think the bolt fell out on the highway. It is no where to be found. So the bottom round thingy is not attached to the top holder thingy. Not sure how @Bent77 and made it back. Could have been a bad night.View attachment 314253 View attachment 314254
Track bars are for sissies! See above comment if you think about selling it (except I don't want the engine from yours).

I moved mine off the trailer and parked it in the yard. I have a week long overland run in 3 weeks up on the North Rim of the GC (350 miles between fuel stops) so I have to get the Silverado and trailer ready for that.

I'm sure I have other stuff broken, I discovered the front diff had 1/2 qt of gear oil in it on day 2 in Moab, I filled it, but there were lots of metal shavings on the magnetic dipstic (ARB diff cover). #justsendit

Same diff you poo pooped a few years ago?

@Blazooki took home the hard luck trophy this year because he flopped shrunken ned, but after seeing my cracked frame he said I should have it.

Of course this was before he blew a tire on the way home, but I guess its mine for this year. Hopefully I dont deserve it next year.

Ouch that is a bad crack. Time for some help from Metal Master type peeps. Good thing it was able to be welded for a temporary fix, at least good enough to get back to a trailer. It can be rebuilt, bigger, faster, stronger, we have the technology, hearing theme music from six million dollar man. Those under 50 will have to google...

I’m only 44 and can remember the show.

So...when I flopped and got tossed around by my lap belt. Apparently my pancreas did not like that. Been in the hospital since 3am with a case of pancreatitis. Figured this fit in the carnage thread

Dude, I did that shit about 2 years ago and pancreatitis is NO JOKE, I've never felt that level of pain before in my life that I couldn't get away from. Hope you feel better soon.

So I'm back home and out of the hospital...pancreas calmed back down and I'm feeling much better now...don't want the trophy back..may go down for the pigeon rat tho
Glad to hear you're feeling better!

That’s great news, hopefully the recovery is good too. Compared to my experience your a few days faster out of the hospital and with luck that helps the rest of the months long recovery I went through.
