No fabricator EVER gets tired of compliments

Yeah, but I get tired of saying the same things over and over again. I still think the products are sweet, but the reaction is the same for just about everything Adam has done. :dunno:

Maybe you should produce some crummy products to break the monotony.

:rotfl: :rotfl:

Weeeeeellll, I was referring to his bead rolling. I have yet to be disappointed in his bead rolling work. And I'm sure his skillset will just continue to grow. :thumb:

That piece is a good case study in bullheadedness. I think the biggest reason he refuses to fix the ugly thing is simply that everyone on here called it ugly. Basic contrariness. :deal:

OH, gawd. I thought those days were gone. You guys almost made him leave us on this one.

I may have misread the situation, but I don't recall it being nearly enough to pry Adam away from here. That didn't happen until truck was running and Lady Friend showed up.

Though that kinda illustrates my point. When he did truck work, there was input and idea exchange. Things were planned out and awesomeness happened in stages. Things were done more than once sometimes. Designs were critiqued and sometimes adjusted. With the signs, he's just cranking stuff out and there's no public planning or magic idea exchange or hypothetical debates. It's just a production line (from our perspective, not necessarily from his). So the conversations get more one-sided (read: boring).

"Hey, I made this cool new thingy!"
"That's nice."

"Hey, I made this OTHER cool new thingy!"
"That's also nice."

etc.

Less community input and more copy-paste replies. :dunno:

And alot of the fact that I didnt want to redo it because I had lots of other things to work on and I just wanted to go to DUNES.

I'll venture a guess that it's never going to fail, so you're never going to replace it. You'll spend the rest of your life getting grief for that ugly-but-functional piece of steel.

:haha:

Off to the shop. I got things to make and more things to make. :D

Oh, no. You'll continue to get grief for that loooooong after you link it. :deal:

Shoot no.

Adam is just gonna get busier in his life. Which means he is gonna make some other hoky repair at some point I will be able to tease him about.

He is like me. Truck needs work, but still wheelable. Hmmmmm WHEELING WE GO

I had a pretty solid evening of progress. 5 out of 30 or so panels I want to bring to the Buggy Show.
