I bit the bullet and got the kit from them. I wish I could tell you how it is,but the project I had in mind for it, I ended up taking a different route. So I have never used it. I would like to see what you end up with.

Id like to have a kit identical, id just like to save a few bucks if necessary. Is there anything special about that air hammer? That's gotta be half of the price tag they are asking.

Not that saw. Just a standard air hammer.
I guess I didn't mind because I like buying things I clearly don't need. Lol
I thought it might be nice to have a dedicated hammer if I was using it. Idk.
Do you have any clecos?

No I don't, but I want a bunch of them. They look like they would be awesome, but I'd probably want way more than that kit offers for doing any large panel work.

that's a pretty decent deal. Eastwood like 15 per ten. Plus 20 for the tool. It still might be worth it to get the kit if you don't have an air hammer. But they are still pretty cheap. Even my Mac tools air hammer was under 75.You can never have enough clecos if you get into heavy panel work.

Adam, you rule on another level.

Haha thanks duder! Ive always loved sheet metal, so why not go all the way with it!!

Good points. Ill keep searching. Only thing i havnt found part numbers for is the actually air hammer heads for the rivets. Not sure if different rivets need a different tool or not.

Todays progress, I wanted something better as the tensioner screw. You need to tighten and loosen this thing all the time, so using a wrench on the stock one was terrible and time consuming. I took a guess at the store and found a little c clamp that had what appeared to be the same threads.... Bought it and bam, exact same haha. Ripped the little cone thing off with a pair of dogs, then put it in the bead roller, put the cone back on and pounded around it with a punch to get it to seat again. Walla, mucho better, now to make some sort of return spring on the upper shaft so it alway has up pressure, instead of needing to lift it up every time to insert or remove a work piece.

And played some more. Found that it is really hard to do pointed corners like these. The Bottom die likes to run into the existing bead before you get to the corner, and it really dents it up alot. Thinking I need to do radius corners on anything I can. the 90 degree corners turned out fine, so im thinking chevy symbol is in order next ;)

Also played with different finishes with the emery cloth after cleanup. Swirls are kinda cool IMO.

Then tried to do straight lines for the finish, that seems to show the imperfections alot more. Hoping I can get more practice though to not need to use finishing as a cover up....

progress is coming along nicely Adam, keep playing/perfecting it....like anything else; in another year the stuff your doing now will look amateur in comparison!

I still want to know when the cookies will be ready???!

Im a terrible cook lol.

I hope so! I want to start building a fancy center console setup. Only thing im not sure of is how to reach over to access the tcase shifter... But it will be nice to have some type of storage, AND cupholders!

Hmmm..... Just when I thought their wasn't a SINGLE fab related tool out I didn't know about..... Where did you get that?

hammerfab. Its a 3d printed die they sell for like $98

Pretty amazing the stuff they can make with steel 3d printers. Im not sure on the longevity of it though...

Interesting. Looks like Levi green's new company. Not sure how I feel about those over all. Interested to see how they look as a whole before I would the pull the trigger for 100 bills. It also looks like they have some non 3d printed ones as well.
Post up when do something. I would like to see.

Oh im going to use the shit out of that thing. I think i may have ordered the machined one actually. Idk it was pretty late when I placed the order haha.

I think im getting the hang of it. Had a cool idea with the vinyl cutter at work, so i cut some stickers and put this in the blast cabinet. Sooooo, now I need a vinyl cutter machine too...

Oh, the way you did that one offset in the outer rectangle made me think it was designed for something
