That is some awesome work, Adam. We need to get together on a design for a Y88 Trans Am.

not for nothing..... but you should prolly pony up for a vendor status at this point IMO....

Ugh I know. I haven't really tried to purposely sell stuff here for that reason. Just gets pricey when I know it will happen on pirate and Gl4x4 soon as well.... Already got $400 tied up for 3 months in that retarted store booth I opened up and have sold $11.92 worth of stickers....

On a side note, i would like to see the amount of paying members I have influenced to join this site in the last 3 years due to dunefest....

Lady and I went on an adventure tonight in chevy sonic.

Picked up a new toy :D

I was about to drop $1400 on the Mittler Bros benchtop english wheel. A dune buddy of mine told me he had one that his brother built before he passed away. All custom built and custom dies. Went up to silver lake tonight and grabbed it.

Same depth as the MB, but way more beefy.

I was thinking of that. Something like that brown k10 that was at the mint 400 parade, but more coolerer.

Lately ive been trading services for goods quite a bit. And its actually been working out really well. A couple panels for the English wheel, some suspension work for a lockrite for ladies front axle. And last week I regeared a 14bff for a guy.

Well we got to talking, and I mentioned that I really need to build a nice work bench for doing all my work on. Im currently using Brett's welding bench for all of it, which is a super nice bench, but its all slotted and made for fixturing etc. (parts and tools tend to fall down the slots all the time)

Well dude actually happens to work for/run a large fab shop that does custom farm implement work. Big one off type stuff, and very cool.

Just got a text from him this am. He said he is building me a 4'x6', 42" tall, 1/4" steel top, with 3"x3" tube frame, on 6" castors :bow::bow::bow::bow::bow::bow::bow::bow:

Im beyond pumped. Ill be able to mount my box and pan brake to one side (hope to order very soon), my English wheel at another end, mount both of my beadrollers on swivel corner mounts, and still end up with a 3'x5' work surface.

Thanks!

That's easily got to be wayyy more in material than the $200 I was gonna charge for the re gear.

And I don't have to spend time fabbing one. Just doing the fun customizing of it. Id like some nice drawers and storage etc underneath. And im thinking of making a swinging wood top that could angle up and be used like an easel for layout work etc. Be nice on my back, and then be able to fold down either out of the way, or flat on the table, and be a good work surface that wont scratch panels.
