Don't let the kid be a crutch, my second kid is on the way to. I'm not changing my ways, just adapt to the situation. Call selfish if you want, but it makes me happy.

with that advice it sounds like i should shove it in the single cab dakota that i drove in high school haha. i had plans to put it in the extended cab that i drive in the winter. but 2 car seat in it isn't gonna happen. i have been mulling over sticking it in the single cab for quite some time tho, anyways sorry for the derail just wanted to give a short explanation as to why the change of direction.

Both are terrible ideas, you should just sell it to me instead. :haha:

Just kidding, I would beinterested if you decide to sell, if I haven't found anything else.

Want to buy a decent battery with dual side terminals and top post. Typically just buy whatever kind of battery. But I want to get something decent.
Any thoughts?

I didn't know AC Delco made a battery for my Traxxas?

Anyway I normally just buy an AC Delco if I can they always seem to be decent.

I've always been a fan of Optima. A lot of people say they've gone down in quality, but I haven't seen it and we sell a bunch of them through the shop. I'm picking up one right now as we speak for my K5.

Yeah I don't know. I've never bought an optima. Even 20 years ago I use to listen to people complaining about them. Because of that I've never pulled the trigger.

Yeah I hear you. I was leary myself. I got one at a smokin deal about 6 years ago for my Trazer and it hasn't missed a beat since and I've run it dead a few times.

Productive few hours today. More destruction and cleaning. Some paint.

Ran into a MAJOR problem. My garage fridge quit cooling! Not sure what I'm got to do about that..

Anyway since I decided to decode my engine and trans I thought, hell why not my rear end to. Came back as a 69 unit. So we have 69 engine, 71 heads and 70 trans, and 69 rear end.
So much for "numbers matching"
:haha:

I was told it was a 12 bolt with 4.10s a 327 and m22... And it's a 10 bolt, m21 and 350
:haha:
Really just comical at this point.
On another note I found the front clip body bushings are gone. Just a couple bolts and washers hanging out. 50 year old cars are so much fun....

As for the battery, see what you can find from Interstate. They're my go to now. Haven't seen or had a bad one yet.

I have a stand alone interstate dealer down the street. I'll see if they are competitive with what Brian pm'ed me.

Farm and Fleet has a line of AGM batteries that are made by a very reputable manufacturer in the USA, I have one in the truck, the regal, and the boat. Just make sure you use a charger with AGM mode.

After that I like ACDelco batteries.

Followed by interstate

I second the interstate.
I buy mine from Costco but I have not had a problem, I had one go bad from sitting a year I exchanged it no question asked
I have the dual post batteries but they are not side post, but top stud.
Still the same thing as long as you have enough room under the hood

Thought process is to buy a new battery. To make a clean install. Ground and power running off top posts

All other circuits will use the side terminals.

I mentioned I usually run ac AC Delco if I can. Sometimes other stuff if I have to.
Just looking for input to see what everyone's opinion is for brands.

I don't necessarily need a new battery but I think it would be a good way to do it.

Sundays are for God and Family.
I generally do pretty well practicing what I preach. But I did sneak off for 4 Alabama songs worth of time.
So however long that is. Spent some time cleaning and more destruction.
One more night of destruction and it's 100% build back time.
Still feeling like I am track for June driving.
Super nice out today and I ran to get food and seen ALOT of hot rods out. Super motivating.

Snowman out.
