Beag's 67 Chevelle. Supercharged Summer

Hopefully
Meh, my list seems to get longer everyday I look at it. I keep knocking off low hanging fruit. But the big ticket items still are lingering over my head.
I have a few things I still need to get done around my shop/house and I'll start on the disc brake stuff and then the suspension. Somewhere in there it will get a complete tune up with a EFI throttle body.

28F23DE8-4A13-42E1-893B-9FF9EF8E885A.jpeg I put a tilt column in my 66 it makes a big difference getting in and out.i would like to find a steering wheel a little smaller in diameter, but I really like the original wheel so I’m not sure what I’m going to do.

It was a aftermarket ididit column .not worried about it being original, car I’d far from perfect and is a straight six car originally.

Yeah, I'm not to worried about mine either. It been repainted once, ( or who knows how many times) engine rebuilt, etc, etc. It's far from perfect. Needs alot of work. I would rather have the damn thing working and useful then worring about originality.

Me too have wanted one since I was 5or 6 built dozens of models of them , finally got it two years ago , been slowly making it reliable enough to take to cruise ins and just having fun with it.

You should do a build thread

You get anything accomplished this weekend?
Worked on a table for my nursey. (Building one vs buying one)
Kind of down and out, recovering from a small medical thing I had done last week.
Had family in yesterday for a visit. No garage time when it's family time.

Leading up to the last baby was busy for me. Remodeled the basement at the last place to finish in a couple rooms. Wasn’t good for other projects, but kids all got a place to be, so was all good

After my first kid I was lucky to get the time to do maintenance on my daily drivers.
13 years later I started on some projects and I got 2 more kids so now I am struggling to not drop everything again.
It's the only thing that keeps me sane.
It's something I can control and leave for a while and come back it's still there waiting for me.

My first daughter turned 2 last March. Second was born late June. I haven’t had dedicated hobby time in years.

They’re worth it though.

It's ok either way. I'll get time here and there.
My wife is pretty understanding as a whole. So I'm not worried about it.

Benefit of having a baby in the winter...is we get a few months while we are basically stuck in the house anyways.

Well, my work schedule is my main issue. I’m gone 14 hours a day 3-4 days a week so it’s all on my wife and when I am home she’s working and I’m with the kiddo’s.
The older one can’t be trusted to stay out of mischief and the little one is too small to leave alone. Another year or so things will be different.
My first one’s a bit of a tomboy and loves to help me fix things. This usually means abducting some of my tools while I work on something.

She even has her own work bench in the play room. One day she’ll be helping me lift a truck or sight in a rifle scope.

My first girl is 13.
The older boy is 2.5 yo and the younger boy is 15 months old .
When I am not working I am helping with the kids.
The only time I get working on the car is when it's for getting it ready to sell or to clean up the yard at least what she's told
