Bertha,picking up where Shewheeler left off.

Spent the weekend in the Monterey area this weekend with family, and stopped by my Pac Fab homeboys homestead on the way home for some race goodness for Bertha :D

Yah I may take a one way ticket out there stay for a week. Buy truck parts and put them in my suitcase for the way back! Lol

Three different angle offset notches per tube. And one setup on the notcher for the left tube, and a different setup for the right.

My life is all work pretty much right now. But I have plenty of time to order more parts :D

My '75 has been running around without a hood for a few months longer than his.....

I drove my Camaro with no hood in the 90's. I believe that was pre-Roadkill.

Worked an awesome shift yesterday. 6am to 9pm :pimp:

Ain't been doin anything but ordering more parts and doin tons of research on rally n rallycross. There is actually a lot of events I can run in Ca. There is a rally group that puts on events at Prarrie City, so I'm going to shoot for their big event they hold in May. I might be rollin by then :haha:

The only thing that I will need to get clarification on to be Rally America and SCCA legal is cage design.

Welded as much as I could get to comfortably on the fuel cell tube thingybob while still bolted in the truck. Wanted it a little more than just tacked together when I pulled it for final welding.



And last week I finally came out of the closet and came clean with the wife...










...and officially told her I'm building a race truck :haha:

She was surprisingly cool with it. Asked her if she wanted to co drive and she said no way. So I told her monkey could be navigator and she said sure :pimp:
