Bertha, picking up where Shewheeler left off.

I'm soooooooooooooo gonna slip a piece of PVC over the links when I'm done just to make people go WTF?? Ha ha :haha:

This build is getting too nice-looking for PVC sleeves.....I'd go with some 3M Di-Noc vinyl with a carbon fiber weave pattern on it!!!

Carbon fiber lower links will get you some attention!

Any more progress on the rallycross research? I looked into this a while ago for similar reasons but I couldn't figure out what class to run.. Now they would prob stick me I'm unlimited or something stoopid like that..

It's in previous posts the pac fab can kit custom done with extra bumps

I know it was from pac fab, I didn't know if he knew what cam they use, and or if other valve train stuff is needed. Brett likes the sound of that motor, and wants buggy to sound like that.

damn that engine sounds good

really enjoying the build updates as well.

Ive never dealt with them, can you just call up and order a "package" to install yourself? Or do they only offer full engines etc.

They'll do either, but their turn key installs are more their thing. Their DIY packages are significantly more expensive than others.

Are those links going to have shackles?

Nope :D

Carbon fiber sticker would be good for a few more HP too:pimp:

It's been a while since I looked at that stuff. I don't remember. I will go look through the stuff I saved.

What cam package are you running?

It's their Ultra4 package with a little extra bumpity. It's the one on their site.

Thanks:saweet:

Progress has been near zero. A new hobby has been sucking up all my time. I have had shock tabs and inboard frame end link brackets cut out for a while, just have not spent any time in the shop.

But in the mean time I got a stick of DOM and misalignment spacers ordered from Ruff Stuff.

Got a real link notched and tacked together. And a link bracket tacked to the frame.

The bolt slides right in at bump, ride height, and full droop :pimp:

Next is to figure out the outboard frame bracket, get the drivers side all put together, and it's on to shock hoops.

No joke. Your company has no loyalty to long time employees. Find something better and tell them to suck it.
