Best brand and place to get fuel filters

I have one near identical to that in my '83. The one in my K5 is different, looks a lot like the canister filter housing found on the earlier 6.2 trucks.

I did find a Racor number for my water separator...took some digging and all my pic's are gone.

I run the Racor R26S 2 micron as a secondary

Hope that helps, although without knowing a pn# for the housing that number may not help much. It does have the plastic underbowl with petcock...

Sorry, I'll look today in the book.. really just a matter of matching thread size and gasket diameter, worst case scenario...

My immediate suggestion would be to just knuckle under and just get a whole new racor setup... You can pick up a spinon unit with water bowl pretty reasonably I think..

It would be a nice mod and a pretty critical one too... Fuel is everything on the diesels, be nice to have a sweet filter setup...
