Best can of Brake cleaner?

We use the Carquest wearever stuff here at the farm. Not the best I've used but it gets the job done just fine. And we buy it a pallet at a time so the price is right :waytogo:

Nvrenuf I need you to talk me into leaving then. I am always stressed, getting bs since head in my dept and work so much no family time or time to enjoy life honestly!

Man, getting out of the car business is like getting out of the mafia, you just about to go in to the witness protection program to do it. :rotfl:

Leaving was the hardest / best thing I ever did, for my head and my family. I was at a strong dealership (parts dept) with a really strong wholesale program going. The deal breaker was my kids reached school age and my mgr was miserable about giving me time off to go to school functions, field trips or even stay home when they were sick. When I decided to leave it took 2 yrs of night school which was forever but it's worth it. I actually took a stout pay cut but the time with my family has been more than worth it.

DO EET!!

That is the thing can not take a big loss in pay with 2 kids in day care and house payment

I know what you mean. The thing that saved us was one was in kindergarten and the other stayed with grandparents, if we had been staring at real daycare I would have had to wait. Just keep your eyes open and if you see a chance jump!

Long ago I bought a bunch from a swap meet.
I swear it sprayed oil LOL.
A waste of a dollar each. Couldn't even use them.

CRC or Oriellys

CRC is Acetone, Heptane, and Carbon Dioxide.
Super Tech is Methanol, Toluene, Acetone and Carbon Dioxide.

They both smell the same, spray the same and works the same, including taking off paint on this cover

2 cans for the price of 1 (I like it.)

Nothing beats CRC Brake Cleaner - Red Can, evaporates, leaves nothing behind. Weld behind it no problem. Perfect degreaser of threads & other things you might want to loctite or seal together; that you don't want falling apart. It's as good as Acetone for pre paint prep of. Small parts ert, It's also sold in bulk, gallons, etc. Green can environmental friendly non chlorinated formula is nearly useless & leaves stuff behind.

Another thing about CRC Red Can it contains trichlorethylene which is an industrial grade solvent used by the aerospace industry & machine shops that require pristine oil free parts when doing inspections of parts holding .0001" or less tolerances.

The aerospace machine shops & manufacturers order this stuff by the 55 gallon drum.

4x4's & Harley's are big vibrators that shake shiit loose, if you don't want stuff falling off at inopportune times CRC red brake clean it and use the applicable color of loctite for them thread's...

You'll be glad you did.

CRC and 3M are probably the strongest, the 3M I'm careful what I use it on. Cheap stuff is is great for general use.
