the argument was involving BIGGER disk brakes.

I addressed that also.

As I understand the definiton of horsepower, it is a measured amount of work over a measured amount of time. Anything that would cause something to spool up slower would be decreasing horsepower. A larger rotational mass would spool up slower, so it stands to reason a larger disc brake assembly (heavier/larger rotor) would show a hp loss on a dyno.

i do know that ratzila, with 44 boggers, a 454 (ithink) and like15 inchs of lift (something like that in the teens anywya), gets like 5 mpg or so lol

92 s10 2wd 2.8/5 speed 3.55's, i think im pushing 20-24 city/highway

my 86 k10 with a 305 with intake, headers, dual 2 1/4 inch exhaust, 700r4, 4-10's and 38's, stock q jet, i was getting like 18 mph highway. god i miss that truck

my 79 1 ton shortbed, i get like 5mpg with a 350hp 350/465/205 with 4.56, and 39.5's

the s10 gets used the most
