Big block guys

are the OE motor mounts the same between a K5 and a chevelle? That should answer your question....
 
thinking 67 still used old style . . . . summit showing them to be old style NOT clamb shell like our trucks use.

if so just buy energy suspension version and bolt in and go .
 
I believe the '67 Chevelle would have motor mounts that bolt to the block and secure to the frame with a single 7/16" bolt...
My '72 Chevelle used that style,so did my '71 GMC K1500,a '71 and '72 K5 I had...
 
According to the part numbers on Rockauto, they're different. I'll just use energy suspension mounts
 
Just playing with some Hookers!
Got the heads torqued down, 75 ft lbs on the long studs and 65 ft lbs on the short studs in three steps. Then just put the headers on to make sure everything would clear.
